Five confirmed capacities
AFS operates five published vehicle sizes: a 350 cubic foot Small Transit, 500 cubic foot Transit LWB, 900 cubic foot Luton Box Van, 1,250 cubic foot 5.5 tonne lorry and 1,600 cubic foot 7.5 tonne lorry.
Why inventory matters
Bedroom count is only a starting point. Storage, garden equipment, large furniture and the number of boxes can materially change the load. Describing these items early helps the team recommend a vehicle and crew based on the real volume.
Minimum booking times
The smaller vans have a two-hour minimum. The Luton, 5.5 tonne and 7.5 tonne vehicles have a three-hour minimum. A larger vehicle can avoid a second trip, but the suitable choice should be confirmed against your move rather than assumed from a generic property label.
